Three Facing Narcotics Charges In Jamestown

A narcotics investigation has led to the arrest of three Jamestown individuals.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Department reports its members and Jamestown Police Department and the City of Dunkirk Police Department ended a several month-long investigation into narcotics activity in the city of Jamestown with a search warrant execution at 614 E. Sixth St. lower apartment around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday

Jamestown Police SWAT made entry into the residence. Located inside the residence at the time of the search warrant was 44-year-old Ronnie Walker, 36-year-old Demarco Lathan and 37-year-old Lucas Smyczek. As a result of the search Investigators seized 20.3 grams of crack cocaine, 4.7 grams of fentanyl, scales for the distribution of narcotics and $545 in currency. Walker was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.

Both Lathan and Smyczek were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia. All three were transported to Jamestown City Court for arraignment.
