Reg Lenna To Screen ‘Sherlock Jr.’ Tonight And ‘One Of Them Days’ On Friday

A classic film and modern music are paired in Buster Keaton’s Sherlock Jr. with R.E.M.’s Monster and New Adventures in Hi Fi – A Silents Synced Film .

The film will be shown today at 7 p.m. A film projectionist longs to be a detective, and puts his meager skills to work when he is framed by a rival for stealing his girlfriend’s father’s pocket watch. This classic 1924 silent film is tracked to R.E.M.’s albums Monster and New Adventures in Hi Fi. Sherlock Jr. is unrated and is 72 minutes long.

Best friends and roommates Dreux (Keke Palmer) and Alyssa (SZA) are about to have One of Them Days (Friday at 7 p.m.) When they discover Alyssa’s boyfriend has blown their rent money, the duo finds themselves going to extremes in a comical race against the clock to avoid eviction and keep their friendship intact. One of Them Days is rated R and is 97 minutes long.

Upcoming Movies at The Reg include Best Actress nominee Fernanda Torres in the Oscar winner for Best International Feature I’m Still Here (March 19 at 7 p.m.), and the rock documentary Becoming Led Zeppelin (March 26 at 7 p.m.)
