PANAMA – Panama Central School officials recently released the school’s Students of the First Quarter. They are:

– Layla Brewer, seventh grade and the daughter of Alexander and Aleshia Brewer of Ashville. She is an Honor Roll student, is very polite and is a member of the PCS Band, which is also her favorite subject. Layla enjoys reading, music, fashion and theater and is a part of the gaming club at PCS. Her favorite music group is My Chemical Romance while her favorite TV show is South Park.

– Jackson Kaltenbach, eighth grade and the son of Ken and Elizabeth Kaltenbach of Ashville. He is an Honor Roll student and is very diligent with his work, is a polite and positive student. Jackson likes to play video games, read, play tennis and spend time with his family in his free time. His favorite subject in school is history. Jackson enjoys Rock/Metal music including Sabaton. His favorite movie is Sergeant Stubby.

– Angelynn Mitchell, ninth grade and the daughter of Jessica Adams of Ashville. She is a very charismatic person, is nice to her peers and adults and is very creative with art which is one of her favorite subjects in school. Angelynn enjoys music, being with her friend, sleep, and writing. Her other favorite subject at PCS is English and she is on the Merit Roll. She enjoys listening to Feel Good Inc. by Gorillaz. Her favorite TV shows are cartoons such as Gumball or Garfield.

– Layla Anderson, 10th grade and the daughter of Erik and Samantha Anderson of Ashville. She is very involved at PCS participating in chorus, Student Government, SADD, and Women in Leadership. Layla is also a social media representative, has participated in the mock trial and musicals. She enjoys playing guitar, art and theatre. Her favorite subject in school is Studio Art. Layla’s favorite music group is Games We Play and her favorite TV show is How I Met Your Mother.

– Abby Bullaro, 11th grade and the daughter of Alissa and Greg Bullaro of Panama. She is an Honor Roll student. She is a quiet, polite student who is very diligent in everything she does. Her interests include photography, 3D printing, art, playing the saxophone and the theatre. Her favorite subject at PCS is history. Abby is involved in numerous clubs and activities including SADD, NHS, Women in Leadership, Envirothon, PCS musicals, and Impact. She enjoys listening to Sublime and Bruno Mars. Abby’s favorite TV shows are Outer Banks and SNL. She also participates in swimming and works as a lifeguard at PCS.

– Cassie Lyon, 12th grade and the daughter of Joe and Darcy Lyon of Ashville. She enjoys mentoring, crafts, fishing, hunting and racing in her free time. Cassie also enjoys being on the volleyball, basketball, softball and swim teams at PCS. She has received the All-Sportsmanship Award in basketball, twice. Her favorite subject in school is Independent Art. She participates in many activities as well such as Women in Leadership, SADD, Student Government, NHS, Chorus and Band. Cassie enjoys listening to Cooper Alan and watching her favorite TV show, Friends.
