Double Up Food Bucks Program Expands Locally
The Double Up Food Bucks program is now available at four area Tops Friendly Markets in Jamestown, Falconer and Frewsburg.
The Double Up Food Bucks Program will provide Tops SNAP customers with a $1 for $1 match on fresh produce purchases – up to $20 per day. This is an increase from the previous $5 amount the program initially covered.

Tops Friendly Markets is the largest grocery store chain to participate in the Double Up Food Bucks program to date. The first two Tops locations to offer Double Up Food Bucks in Western New York have seen redemption rates as high as 40%, which is five to six times higher than the typical rate for most other retail coupons, according to store officials. .

The Double Up Food Bucks program is a statewide program, administered by Field & Fork Network, which provides a dollar-for-dollar match on Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) purchases, up to $20 per day and can be used to purchase local fresh fruits and vegetables. The program is a free resource for anyone receiving SNAP benefits, which increases purchasing power by doubling their benefits.
