Reg Lenna Center For The Arts To Screen ‘Here’, ‘Conclave’
The films Here and Conclave will be shown this week at the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts.
Here (Wednesday at 7 p.m.) is an original film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. The story travels through generations, capturing the most relatable of human experiences. Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump) directs. Told much in the style of the acclaimed graphic novel by Richard McGuire on which it is based, Tom Hanks and Robin Wright star in a tale of love, loss, laughter and life, all of which happen right Here. The film is rated PG-13 and is 104 minutes long.
Conclave (Friday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m.) follows one of the world’s most secretive and ancient events – selecting the new Pope. Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) is tasked with running this covert process after the unexpected death of the beloved Pope. Once the Catholic Church’s most powerful leaders have gathered from around the world and are locked together in the Vatican halls, Lawrence uncovers a trail of deep secrets left in the dead Pope’s wake, secrets which could shake the foundations of the Church. Conclave is rated PG and is 120 minutes long. The film was nominated for 6 Golden Globe awards, winning for Best Screenplay (Peter Straughan.)
