City Woman Faces Drug Charges

A Jamestown woman faces several charges after a search warrant was executed on Falconer Street on Wednesday.

According to a police report, Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force agents and Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators executed a search warrant at 567 Falconer St. in the lower rear apartment at 3:47 p.m. Wednesday. At the same time, city police officers pulled over a vehicle on East Second Street near Cowing Street and took Rose E. Raynor into custody.

Police allege finding 157.4 grams of methamphetamine, 10.6 grams of fentanyl and a small amount of cocaine when they searched Raynor after the traffic stop. The search of the Falconer Street apartment resulted in police seizing digital scales, packaging materials and cutting agents. Raynor was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance and three counts of second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.

A man was found inside Raynor’s apartment and was released from the scene.
