Bemus Point Impact Kids Club Sings Carols

Bemus Point Elementary School Impact Kids Club members are pictured singing Christmas carols near the school’s office prior to the school’s Christmas vacation.

BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Elementary School’s branch of Impact Kids’ Club, a program for second through fifth graders, recently sang Christmas carols throughout Bemus Point during Christmas season.

During the Kids’ Club meetings students discuss topics of character such as honesty, respect, compassion and hope. They also participate in service projects, sing encouraging songs, hear inspiring stories, and participate in short closing prayers.

Students began by singing in the office of elementary school, then traveled to Sunnyside Manor apartments, continued on to the Bemus Point Post Office, the school bus garage and some homes in the nearby neighborhood. At each location they shared a written Christmas greeting that included Isaiah 1:6-7: For to us the child is born, to us a sign is given, and the government would be on His shoulders. And He shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
