The Reg Lenna Center for the Arts will show the films Anora nad Moana 2 on Wednesday and Saturday, respectively.

Anora (Wednesday at 7 p.m.) is a variation on a modern day Cinderella story. Mikey Madison (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) captivates as Ani, a young sex worker from Brooklyn whose life takes an unexpected turn when she meets and impulsively marries Vanya, the impetuous son of a Russian billionaire. However, when Vanya’s parents catch wind of the union, they send their henchmen to annul the marriage, setting off a wild chase through the streets of New York. Anora is rated R and is 139 minutes long.

Moana 2 (Saturday, Jan. 25, at 4 p.m. and Wednesday, Jan. 29, at 2 p.m.) reunites Moana and Maui three years later for an expansive new voyage alongside a crew of unlikely seafarers. After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the far seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever faced. Moana 2 is rated PG and is 100 minutes long.

Upcoming Movies at The Reg include Nicole Kidman in the thriller Babygirl (Jan. 31 at 7 p.m.), Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown (Feb. 7 at 7 p.m.), Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in the movie musical Wicked (Feb. 14 at 7 p.m.) and two showings of Disney’s Mufasa: The Lion King (Feb. 19 at 2 p.m. and Feb. 21 at 7 p.m.)
