Mary McCague’s watercolor exhibit is showing at the Lakewood Memorial Library gallery through the end of December. McCague’s watercolors are of Chautauqua Lake and its surrounding countryside. The artist finds extraordinary visual inspirations even in the most mundane sights, and it has become the challenge of her life to strive to capture and interpret such quietly beautiful images in her paintings.
