Southwestern Middle School officials have announced the school’s Students of the Month for November. They ar:

Natalie Brown, sixth grade and the daughter of Tonia and Aaron Brown. Her favorite subjects in school are social studies, art, and science. Natalie is the team manager for the Southwestern volleyball and basketball teams. She also belongs to the middle school student council. Outside of school, she dances for the Tiffany Wakeley Academy of Dance, participates in the Southwestern High School musical, and plays Babe Ruth softball and Upwards basketball. When she’s not at school, Natalie enjoys dancing, singing, drawing, and hanging out with her friends.

Ada Chen, seventh grade and the daughter of Jing and Yao Chen. Her favorite subjects in school are band, gym, and art. Ada plays on the modified girls’ basketball team. Outside of school, she plays soccer for the YMCA and takes drum lessons at Infinity. When she’s not at school, Ada enjoys drawing and hanging out with friends. One fun fact about her is that she speaks Chinese.

Livia Riley, eighth grade and the daughter of Tracie and Tim Riley. Her favorite subjects in school are math, science, and art. Livia is a member of the varsity girls’ swim team, specializing in the freestyle and backstroke. She participates in the Southwestern High School musical and middle school band and choir. Livia is also a competitive dancer for Dancing with Victoria. When Livia is not at school she likes to dance, read, draw, sing, hang out with friends, and spend time with her family. One fun fact about her is that she did gymnastics for eight years before she started dance.
