SHERMAN – Sherman Central School officials recently announced the school’s Students of the Quarter for the first quarter of the 2024-25 school year.

Kendall Martin, the junior high school student of the first quarter, is the daughter of Shauna Martin. She has three siblings, Lily, Jonah, and Caden. Her favorite course to take so far is ELA. She loves to play basketball. Kendall would like to attend college at JCC and study to become an interior designer.

Shelby Melnick, the senior high school student of the first quarter, is the daughter of Jed and Jill Melnick. She has three siblings, Faith, Hailey, and Carson. Her favorite courses this year are Studio Art and Global History. She enjoys reading/painting, musicals, plays, and high school bowl. In the future, Shelby would like to study psychology, criminal law, art, and literature.
