NCCR Dog Of Week Is Suzie
Suzie is a recent arrival at the Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue, brought in after she was picked up as a local stray and her family failed to claim her. She is a 3-4-month-old female mixed breed puppy. Her breed mix is guessed to include Great Dane and probably some Staffordshire Terrier – she’s got long legs and is likely to reach at least 50 pounds full-grown. Suzie has oodles of puppy energy, and she loves to play with anyone who can spare some time for her. She is super affectionate. She is also very interested in her kennel neighbors and would probably love a canine buddy in her adoptive home. As with all puppies, Suzie needs ongoing daily training to reinforce her new skills, lots of exercise and attention, and plenty of patience and love to help her become the best dog she can be. Read more about her and her adoptable friends, and apply to adopt online at www.caninerescue.org, or visit the shelter and meet the dogs in person Monday through Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m.; no appointment needed.
