Audubon To Host Christmas With The Critters On December 27
There are two opportunities on Friday, Dec. 27 to take part in the Audubon Community Nature Center’s Christmas With The Critters.
Sessions will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 to 2 p.m. for a a live animal program, exploration of animal artifacts, a craft station and a chance to make a gift for the wild animals.
The center is home to many live animals including several species of turtles, snakes, and frogs. Three birds of prey also call ACNC home: Cricket the American Kestrel, and Soren and Bridgette the Red-tailed Hawks. The animals are a part of the education team as they teach visitors about wildlife in our area and how they move, grow, and survive.
Admission for either time is $8 for adults, $6 for Nature Center members and children ages 3 to 15, and free for children two and under. Reservations are appreciated. To register for either the morning or afternoon, call the Nature Center at 716-569-2345 during open hours or click through Programs and Events at AudubonCNC.org. Walk-ins are welcome.
The building will be closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
