Southwestern Middle School officials recently released the school’s Students of the Month for October. They include:

Christopher Snead, sixth grade and the son of Alicia Snead. His favorite subjects in school are math, social studies, and makerspace. Christopher is a member of the Middle School Student Council and plans to play on the modified football team next year. When Christopher is not at school, he enjoys racing at Stateline Speedway and traveling. One fun fact about him is he is originally from Delaware.

Kendal Bouckhuyt, seventh grade and the daughter of Troy and Jiliane Bouckhuyt. Kendal’s favorite subject in school is English. She is on the Southwestern Modified Volleyball team and is also a member of the Middle School Student Council! Outside of school, she helps with the concession stand at Gladiator games. When Kendal is not in school, she enjoys reading and drawing. One fun fact about her is that she likes art and used to foster animals.

Collin Carlson, eighth grade and the son of Ashley Carlson, and Blake and Mary Carlson. His favorite subject in school is math. Collin plans to join the Southwestern swim team in the future. When he is not in school, he enjoys playing video games. One fun fact about Collin is that he has a little brother.
