The Chautauqua Youth Symphony opens its 2024-25 season on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. with their fall concert.

The Youth Symphony, Prelude Strings, and Jamestown Suzuki Strings will perform at Washington Middle School, 159 Buffalo St., Jamestown. Admission is free and a freewill offering will be taken.

Bryan Eckenrode will conduct the concert.

Registrations are also being accepted now for the spring concert cycle for beginning string players in Prelude Strings and advanced students in the Youth Symphony. Rehearsals for the spring start in January with a spring concert to be held in May.
