Cuckoo and The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be shown this week at the Reg Lenna Center for The Arts.

Hunter Schafer and Dan Stevens star in Cuckoo (Wednesday at 7 p.m.) Reluctantly, 17-year-old Gretchen leaves her American home to live with her father, who has just moved into a resort in the German Alps with his new family. Arriving at their future residence, they are greeted by Mr. Konig, her father’s boss, who takes an inexplicable interest in Gretchen’s mute half-sister Alma. Something doesn’t seem right in this tranquil vacation paradise. Gretchen is plagued by strange noises and bloody visions until she discovers a shocking secret that also concerns her own family. Cuckoo is rated R and is 102 minutes long.

In the cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show (Saturday, Oct. 25, at 10 p.m.), sweethearts Brad (Barry Bostwick) and Janet (Susan Sarandon), stuck with a flat tire during a storm, discover the eerie mansion of Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a transvestite scientist. As their innocence is lost, Brad and Janet meet a houseful of wild characters, including a rocking biker (Meat Loaf) and a creepy butler (Richard O’Brien). Through elaborate dances and rock songs, Frank-N-Furter unveils his latest creation: a muscular man named “Rocky.” The Rocky Horror Picture Show is rated R and is 101 minutes long. Audience participation, props (excluding super splash squirt guns and hot dogs) and costuming is encouraged. Prop Fun Packs will be sold to patrons while supplies last.
