Photographer To Present At Camera Club Meeting

This photo by Michael Samuelson is among those that will be discussed Oct. 17 at a meeting of the Chautauqua County Camera Club.

Jamestown born photographer Michael Samuelson will return to the area on Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. to speak about his travels and photography at the North Harmony Senior Center, 5377 Stow Ferry Road, Stow.

The discussion is sponsored by the Chautauqua County Camera Club and is free to attend.

Samuelson lives in Michigan but has traveled the world documenting and capturing the view around him. His travels have included Mount Everest, the Amazon, the Galapagos and much more. The Vietnam Era veteran has also served as a university professor and businessman and is a writer as well as photographer.

Samuelson will present some of his photos, as well as his stories during his session at the senior center. Light refreshments will be served, and all, including non-seniors, are welcome to attend. This event is being held by the Chautauqua County Camera Club, a group of local photographers of all skills and ages interested in improving and sharing their photography skills.
