Gertie Is NCCR Dog Of Week
The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Gertie, a recent arrival at the shelter who was rescued from another shelter where her time had run out. She is a spayed 3-year-old mixed breed who gets along well with other dogs, loves people and even passed her cat test. Gertie might be house trained, too – she keeps a tidy kennel. She is a nice medium/large sized dog at just over 50 pounds, and she has a sweet, outgoing disposition. Her breed mix is guessed to include a little hound, a little retriever, and probably a few other things, as well. Gertie would love a home with another friendly dog or two to play with, and an active family with plenty of time to spend with her. Read more about Gertie and her adoptable friends and apply online to adopt at www.caninerescue.org, or visit the shelter at 7540 N. Gale street in Westfield and see her from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
