Jamestown High School Students of the Year
Jamestown High School has named its Students of the Year
Alivia Wofford is a junior at Jamestown High School, and is the daughter of Janae Lee and Clevon Wofford. Alivia is a member of the National Honor Society, captain of the Varsirt Girls Track and Field Team and also a member of the Varsity Indoor Track and Field Team and the Girls Varsity Soccer Team. In her spare time, Alivia enjoys volunteering in the community. After graduation, she plans to study Aerospace Engineering and Aviation at the University of Michigan.
Gina Delgado is a freshman at Jamestown High School, and is the daughter of Sarina Rivera. Gina plays the clarinet in Concert Band and Full Orchestra. She also played in the high school’s most recent musical, “Big Fish.” She is a member of the JV Girls Basketball team, Girls Flag Football team, and the Jamestown High School Marching Band. In her free time Gina volunteers at Community Helping Hands.
Emylia Hallberg is a senior at Jamestown High School, and is the daughter of John and Peggy Hallberg. Emylia is co-president of the Senior Class Council and Student Organization, as well as the Co-Public Relations officer for the National Honor Society. Emylia also participates in the A Cappella Choir and Chamber Orchestra. Emylia also participated in Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Indoor Track and Varsity Outdoor Track and Field. Emylia also was a member of Raider Readers book club and Mock Trial. Emylia will be attending the University at Buffalo with majors in Political Science and Pre-Law.
Kate Kathman is a sophomore at Jamestown High School, and is the daughter of Kristy and Jason Kathman. Kate plays Girls Flag Football and Girls Varsity Soccer. She is also a part of the Student Council, Symphonic Band, and Acapella Choir. After graduation, Kate plans to study psychology at college and hopes to work with kids.
