JCC Holds Pinning Ceremony For Nursing Program Graduates

From left, Kim Scoma receives her nursing pin from her mother, Kathleen Anderson, who graduated the JCC Nursing Program 40 years earlier; as Kim’s father, Bruce Anderson, looks on.

Jamestown Community College held a pinning ceremony recently on the Jamestown Campus for 34 graduates of the nursing program.

Those receiving pins are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses. Katelyn Farr of Youngsville received the Academic Excellence in Nursing Award, and Yelena Richardson of Warren earned Clinical Excellence in Nursing honors. Several graduates were pinned by family members that are also alumni of the JCC nursing program.
