JHS Names December Students Of The Month

Jamestown High School announced its students of the month for December. The are:
Marley Drake, a freshman at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Ben and Karen Drake. Marley is the freshman class Treasurer and plays on the Varsity Girls Basketball team. In her free time, she likes to workout, spend time with her family and attend activities with her church. After graduation, she plans to spend time doing mission work and play basketball in college.
Emma Abers, a sophomore at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Nate and Marty Abers. Emma is a member of Student Council and participates in Key Club. She is also a member of the Chautauqua Lake Rowing Association’s High School Club Team. In her spare time, Emma enjoys volunteering, particularly at The Haunting at the Mall, watching Criminal Minds, and spending time playing Twister or baking with friends. After high school, she plans on studying criminal and forensic psychology.
Lucian Talbett, a junior at Jamestown High School, is the son of Robert and Melissa Talbett. Lucian serves the junior student body as the Public Relations Officer. Lucian has played hockey for a decade, this fall for the Bud Bakewell Ice Hawks based out of Buffalo, NY and currently high school hockey for the Jamestown Raiders Varsity team. After graduation, Lucian hopes to play junior hockey before pursuing a career as part of the International Brotherhood of Electricians.
Emily Ryberg, a senior at Jamestown High School, is the daughter of Chuck and Shelly Ryberg. Emily plays the trombone in Symphonic Band, is in A Cappella Choir, and participates in Concert Orchestra. She is also the captain of the Varsity Bowling team and has been on it for three years, and has participated in Varsity Soccer. In her spare time, she likes to bowl, sing, and volunteer in the community. Emily has received many awards in Spanish and Music. After graduation, she plans to go to JCC to study veterinary care.
