The Northern Chautauqua Canine Rescue Dog of the Week is Fiona, who arrived at the shelter a few weeks ago. She was very afraid at first, but responded well to soft words and kind hands. She greets volunteers at her gate with a wagging tail and plops down for her petting time. She is a spayed female terrier mix, about a year old who has been paired with another dog for playtime which she loves. She would probably do well in a quieter home or one which gives her time to get used to new things. The shelter is located at 7540 N.
