Fluvanna Free Library Receives New Books

FLUVANNA — The Fluvanna Free Library recently received a gift of 100 new children’s books, ranging from pre-kindergarten through early readers.
The books were a donation from the Brownstone Book Fund, a private foundation in New York City whose interest is in fostering early reading and the love of books in children while also encouraging parents and children to read together. The books were highlighted as part of the library’s Winter Reading Program and have been read by many so far.
The library staff invites the public to visit the Fluvanna Free library to explore the new collection. While at the library, people can pick up an application for the Summer Reading Program running July 17 through Aug. 12. This year’s theme is Build a Better World.
