John Edstrom

John Edstrom has been hired as purchasing manager at Jamestown Macadam Inc.

Edstrom’s primary responsibilities include organizing and supervising the purchasing functions of JMI and its affiliates. He will also be developing new purchasing strategies and maintaining ongoing relationships with suppliers.

Edstrom, a lifelong area resident, is a graduate of Falconer High School and majored in business at Jamestown Community College. He brings 40 years of industrial sales experience to the JMI team, previously serving as vice president of J C Walker Co. Inc. and most recently Kaman Industrial Technology.

Edstrom is a 15-year member of the Falconer Fire Department and former chairman of the Falconer Zoning Board.
