The Southwestern Central School Board of Education will meet at 6 p.m. in the board room. The public is welcome to attend. Items on the agenda include an update on school building projects and the proposed 2025-26 budget.

Asheville UMC To Host Mobile Food Pantry Today

ASHVILLE – The mobile food pantry truck from the Food Bank of WNY will be at the Ashville United Methodist Church today from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 to 5 p.m. To receive free food, proof of address is required to show recipients live in one of the following ZIP codes: Ashville 14710, Bemus Point 14712, Celoron 14720, Lakewood 14750, Niobe 14758, Panama 14767, Stow 14785, and Busti. Those getting food are asked to bring their own bags or boxes.

Sewer District Board To Meet Thursday

CELORON – The South & Center Chautauqua Lake Sewer Districts Administrative Board will meet at noon Thursday in the Water Pollution Control Facility, Celoron. The public is welcome to attend.

FALCONER – The Falconer Planning Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 1, to review a site plan submitted by BAPA, 20 W. Main Street RE LLC, for renovations at 20 W. Main St., Falconer. The meeting will be held in the Community Building board room, 101 W. Main St., Falconer. The public is welcome to attend.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church To Hold Dinner Thursday

FALCONER – Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Falconer will host a takeout chicken and biscuit dinner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday May 1. The price will be $10 for adults and $5 for children under 6. Dinner, bread, vegetables and dessert are included. To order ahead call 716-665-2102. The church is located at 20 N. Phetteplace St., Falconer. The proceeds will benefit the Bethlehem Lutheran Mission Fund.
