Easter Egg Hunt Set For Saturday
Children ages 12 and under are invited to an Easter Egg Hunt at St. John Church, 282 Newton Ave., Jamestown, Saturday at 10 a.m. It will take place rain or shine. The event is sponsored by Eastside Fellowship and Catholic Neighbors in Faith.
Ivory Cemetery Association To Meet April 29
FREWSBURG – The annual meeting of the Ivory Cemetery located on Emery Hill Road, Frewsburg, will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 29 at the Ivory Baptist Church, 633 Ivory Road, Frewsburg. Any interested parties are welcome to attend. Light refreshment will be served. Any headstone decorative items that have been left over the winter and have become weathered will be discarded soon after the meeting. Lot owners are asked to remove any items they want to keep before April 29.
Panama To Hold Community Cleanup Day May 3
PANAMA – A community clean up day for the village of Panama and surrounding area is scheduled for May 3 at 9 a.m. Volunteers will organize at the Panama Methodist Church and from there will walk the village streets and surrounding area picking up trash and litter that has accumulated through the winter months. Anyone wishing to help is welcome to join this effort. There will be safety vests, gloves, and trash bags provided and a limited number of community clean up tee shirts. Light refreshments and bottled water will be provided also. A rain date of May 10 will be planned.
Liberty Park Cemetery Lot Owners To Gather May 5
CATTARAUGUS – The annual lot owners and financial meeting of the Liberty Park Cemetery will be held May 5, at 3:30 p..m at the cemetery office at 102 South St., Cattaraugus.
Myrtle Cemetery Association To Meet May 5
KENNEDY – The Myrtle Cemetery Association will be holding its annual meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, May 5, in the Clarks Corners Community Church conference room. All board members, lot owners, and other interested parties are urged to attend. Election of officers and several board members will be held. Discussion of cemetery rules, services, and the health and future of the association will be part of the agenda.
The Relief Zone Hosting Golf Tournament Fundraiser May 17
FREWSBURG – The Relief Zone will be hosting its annual golf tournament Saturday, May 17, at Blueberry Hill Golf Club in Russell. Interested participants can register online at www.thereliefzone.net/registration or The Relief Zone at 716-569-2614. The cost is $340 per four-person team with prizes for first and second place teams. Divisions include men’s, women’s and mixed teams with two men and two women. Tournament registration begins at 8 a.m. with tee-off at 9 a.m. Donuts, coffee and fruit provided at registration with hot dogs at the turn, and a chicken barbecue dinner follows the event.
