Randolph School Board To Hold Special Meeting

RANDOLPH – The Randolph Central School Board of Education will hold a special meeting Tuesday, April 22, at 7:15 a.m. in the district office. The purpose of the meeting is to vote on the BOCES budget and the BOCES Board of Education. The public is welcome to attend. Hillcrest Baptist To Begin Griefshare Meetings April 22

A new GriefShare session begins on Tuesday, April 22, meeting weekly from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Hillcrest Church, 40 Hallock St., Jamestown. Each session includes a video seminar with encouraging, information-packed presentations featuring leading grief recovery experts followed by small group discussion. A personal workbook provides a guide for journaling and personal study exercises that reinforce the weekly session topics. Seminar topics cover the challenges of grief, the journey of grief, grief and your relationships, guilt and anger, complicating factors, lessons of grief, heaven, and “What Do I Live for Now?” Contact the Hillcrest office at 716-483-3331 for additional information and to sign up for the next session. The only cost is $20 for the personal workbook.

Benefit For Corrections Officers Is April 27

CHERRY CREEK – The Barn at Farrington Hollow is hosting a benefit to support the Lakeview Corrections officers who were recently fired after a wildcat strike at the facility. The benefit will be held from noon to 6 p.m. April 27. Contributions can be coordinated with The Barn at Farrington Hollow or made during the event. Northwest Arena To Host Grapes, Hops Festival

The Northwest Arena will host its annual Grapes & Hops Festival on Saturday, April 26, featuring local and regional wineries, breweries and cideries. Doors open at 2 p.m. with tasting sessions running from 2 to 5 p.m. Attendees can have unlimited samples from dozens of vendors. “Grapes & Hops is one of our most popular annual events,” said Tonja Rinaldo, Northwest Arena events and marketing manager.”It’s a great way to celebrate the region’s vibrant beverage scene and enjoy a fun, social evening in a one-of-a-kind setting.” The event will feature live music, craft vendors, and a VIP tasting hour starting at 1 p.m. General admission and VIP tickets are available now at NorthwestArena.com or by visiting the Northwest Arena box office.

Bocce League Signups Are April 28
