St. Luke’ Thrift Shop Open Today Through Saturday
St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St. between E. Fourth and East Fifth streets, will be open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in addition to regular hours Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All winter clothing, shoes and boots for men, women and children are $1 or less this week. The miscellaneous department is also well stocked. Off-street parking is available in the parking lot off East Fifth Street.
Audubon Adds Sunday To
Audubon Lights
A Sunday bonus night has been added to the annual Audubon Lights on Sunday. Hours are 8:30 to 10 p.m. Volunteer Coordinator Sharon Tefft needs more volunteers this weekend. Those interested can email STefft@AudubonCNC.org or call the Nature Center at 716-569-2345. All volunteers receive free admission to the event and a complimentary snack and drink from the snack stand. Admission is $12 for adults, $9 for Nature Center members and children 3-15, and free for ages 2 and under. Outdoor Club
To Host Two Hikes Sunday
On Saturday, members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike in the Erie National Wildlife Refuge on two different trails. Meet at the Trailhead for the Trolley Line trail at 1:30 p.m. Use Google maps to look up the route. Follow Route 27 west to 426 north and then Old Route 77 south to right turn on 408 west. Continue a little over seven miles. Parking is on the right. This trip will take a little over an hour from Warren. The group will hike 3.75 miles here. The second trail is the Muddy Creek Holley Trail about 10 minutes away. The group will hike .75 miles on a boardwalk. Cheryl Kitner is the hike leader. On Sunday, the club is organizing a hike at Dunham Siding, meeting at Musante Street in Warren at 1:30 p.m. This will be a moderate hike. Bob Gregerson will be the leader.
Lakewood Library To Host Bunny Workshop April 9
LAKEWOOD – The Lakewood Memorial Library will host a workshop about bunnies, including an opportunity to meet bunnies, at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, in partnership with the Sundance Kids Farm. The workshop is appropriate for children ages 6 and up.
