Pearl City Clay House To Open Exhibit Sunday

The Pearl City Clay House, a program of Infinity Visual and Performing Arts, will open its Pearl City Clay House Instructor Exhibition at its Second Street studio with an opening reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Participating artists include: Aleida Foulk, Ashley Snyder, Becca, Darcie McLachlan, Debbie Penley, Debra Eck, Emily Cline, JJ Moore, Patty D’Angelo, Patti Kramer, Sarah Brown-Millspaw, and Tera Myers.

Outdoor Club

To Hike Sunday

On Sunday, members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike a section of the North Country Trail along Hemlock Run. The hike will be an “out and back” from the State Route 59 trailhead and will be 4 miles. The group will meet at Musante Street at 1:30 p.m. or meet the group at 2 p.m. at the State Route 59 trailhead. Lisa and Peter To will be the leader for this event.

Lenten Service Wednesday

The Rev. Ivy Gauvin, pastor of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Bemus Point, will be the guest speaker at the midweek noon-time Lenten Service at First Lutheran Church at noon Wednesday. The Lenten services are sponsored by the Southwestern Conference Lutherans and will be held in the Memorial Chapel, which is handicap accessible. The noon service will be followed by a soup, salad, and homemade pie luncheon in the church parlors for a nominal fee. The luncheon is sponsored by the First Lutheran Altar Society. The public is welcome to attend.

State Of County Address Is

March 26 During Legislature

MAYVILLE – County Executive Paul M. Wendel Jr. will deliver his 2025 State of the County Address on Wednesday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the Legislature Chambers, 3 North Erie St. During the address, “I look forward to sharing the progress we have made as a county and outlining our continued commitment to growth, efficiency, and opportunity for all,” said Wendel. “Together, we will build a stronger, more prosperous Chautauqua County.”

Host Spaghetti Dinner March 27

FALCONER – Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Falconer will host a takeout spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursday, March 27. The price will be $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dinner, bread, salad and dessert are included. To order ahead call 716-665-2102. The church is located at 20 North Phetteplace St , Falconer. The proceeds will benefit the Bethlehem Lutheran Mission Fund.
