The Kendall Police Club, the Police Benevolent Association representing the City of Jamestown police officers, has announced the relaunch of its Facebook page – Kendall Police Club. “We want to be able to communicate more broadly with the community about all the great work being done by our offices, especially everything they do to support the community,” said Sam Piazza, President, Jamestown Kendall Club. “At the same time, social media is another way for us to clarify information that is not always accurate about how public safety is being portrayed.” The content will include spotlights on police officers and their work in the community, annual events that Club members participate in that support the community groups and organizations and issues that impact public safety among others. “Jamestown police officers are such an integral part of our community and not just when they are in uniform,” Piazza continued. “Through social media we can share a lot of good stories about our members which will help strengthen the bond with the citizens they protect and serve.”
