Outdoor Club To Hike Sunday

SCANDIA – On Sunday members of the Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike or ski at the Blueberry Hill Golf Course in Scandia. The group will meet at the course at 2 p.m. The activity is being led by Mark Simpson.

Falconer Library Art Show Rescheduled Due To Weather

FALCONER – The art show reception for students in Lauren Kimball’s Fenner Elementary art classes has been rescheduled for Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Falconer Public Library, 101 W. Main St. Artwork from students in third, fourth and fifth grade is on display at the library.

Hazeltine Library Board To Meet Tuesday

BUSTI – Trustees for the Hazeltine Public Library will meet Tuesday at the library at 5 p.m. The public is welcome to attend. The library is located at 891 Busti-Sugar Grove Road, Busti. Meet Tuesday

BUSTI – The monthly meeting of the Southern Tier TEA Party Patriots will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at 1309 Norby Road. The group will discuss the Hochul administration’s accumulation of a $75 billion “slush fund” by penalizing fossil fuel companies violating climate change regulations while doing business in New York. As heating bills increase, members will discuss what can be done locally to push back on her plans of imposing her climate change agenda.

Cooperative Extension Board To Meet Tuesday

The Cornell Cooperative Extension of Chautauqua County Board of Directors reorganizational meeting will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Jamestown Community College’s Carnahan Center, 241 James Ave., Jamestown. The public is welcome to attend.

Public Input Being Accepted For Community Health Improvement Plan

MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Health Department is conducting a Community Health Assessment to gather information about the county’s current health status, needs and challenges. The information provided will help to develop a Community Health Improvement Plan that drives how and where resources could and should be used. County residents can take the Chautauqua County Community Health Survey until March 31 at HealthyCHQ.com. The survey takes 5-10 minutes to complete, and responses to the health survey questions are kept confidential. Several community and medical sites throughout the county have paper copies. If you would like paper copies for your neighborhood or community agency or need other assistance submitting the survey, please contact the county Health Department at 716-753-4491. Partners include the Brooks – TLC Hospital System, UPMC Chautauqua, Westfield Memorial Hospital, Chautauqua County Health Department and many other community partner agencies.
