Pine Valley To Host Blood Drive Friday
SOUTH DAYTON — The sophomore class at Pine Valley Jr./Sr. High School, 7827 Route 83, is hosting a blood drive Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the gym. All donors will receive a “Fear Less” donor T-shirt while supplies last. Contact Kara Johnson at kajohnson@pval.org to schedule an appointment.
Sons Of American Revolution To Meet Saturday
STOCKTON – The Chautauqua Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will meet Saturday at the Stockton Hotel at 12:30 p.m., with lunch ordered from the menu. Members and guests are welcome, as well as anyone with an interest the Revolutionary War. Members hope to begin preparations for the upcoming visit of “General Lafayette” to the county this summer.
Ross Grange To Gather Monday
FALCONER – The Ross Grange will meet for a dish-to-share lunch at 12:30 p.m. Monday at the Falcon’s Nest Banquet Hall in Falconer. The meeting will include draping the charter and plans for the 150th anniversary of Ross Grange. All interested are welcome to attend.
North Chautauqua Lake Sewer Board To Meet Monday
MAYVILLE – The North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the NCLSD Sewer Plant, 50 Clark Street, Mayville. The meeting is open to the public.

BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Library board will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the library. The public is welcome to attend.
Legion Post 1280 Auxiliary To Meet Tuesday
CASSADAGA – The Cassadaga American Legion Post 1280 Auxiliary will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the post. During members’ December meeting, it was reported that Unit 1280 membership was at 64% paid for the year; dues are $30 and can be paid by mail at 228 Maple Ave., Cassadaga, NY 14718, or at the Post. Unit member Lauren Sharp delivered the post’s collection box of items and monetary donations to the Blue Star Mothers for their holiday packages being sent to troops stationed overseas; thank you to everyone that contributed to this worthy cause! The Post has a Christmas Eve gathering planned, a New Year’s Eve “ball drop” party, and is working with the Cassadaga village for events to sponsor during the Winterfest in February. Members present voted to donate money to the Blue Star Mothers to help with shipping costs. .
