The Fenton History Center’s book signing with Christopher Carosa scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled. Copies of the book are still available in the center’s store. The book signing event will be rescheduled for a later date.
Sons Of
Revolution To Meet Saturday
STOCKTON – The Chautauqua County Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution will meet for a fellowship meal on Saturday at the Stockton Hotel, Stockton. The group will order from the menu. Members and guests are welcome, DAR members are welcome also.
Community Bank Holds Holiday Collections
Community Bank branches across the region are participating in holiday drives. They include the Jamestown branch collecting toys for Toys for Tots and the Clymer branch collecting toys for the Clymer Business Association’s annual Christmas drawing and nonperishable food items and toiletries to send to active duty troops through the Blue Star Mothers.
Faith Graham To Provide Special Music Sunday At UUCJ Service
Faith Graham will provide special music at the 10:30 a.m. Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Jamestown hybrid service on Sunday. An ENL (English as a New Language) teacher, Graham began teaching violin more than 25 years ago and has been an instructor at Infinity Visual and Performing Arts since 2019. Her father, Ron Graham, was an early recipient (1990) of UUCJ’s T. Richard Parker Award for Social Justice for his work on behalf of under-privileged children and the formation of the Jamestown Striders and Lighted Schoolhouse program. The public is welcome to attend.

BEMUS POINT – The Bemus Point Central School Board of Education will meet Monday in the Maple Grove Junior-Senior High School cafeteria. Board members are expected to move for an executive session at 5 p.m. to discuss personnel. The regular meeting starts at 6 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
