Christian Women To Meet Tuesday Dec. 10

RUSSELL – The Jamestown-Warren Christian Women, Village Missions Country Partners, will meet Tuesday, Dec. 10, at noon at Praise Fellowship Church, Russell, Pa. The speaker will be the Rev. Dorothy Hillyard, volunteer grief counselor for Hospice, on coping during the holidays. Music is by the Evertsen family. Bring a $1 brown bag item for exchange. The cost for lunch is $6. Red Cross Blood Drive Is Wednesday Dec. 11

MAYVILLE – The American Red Cross will host a blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Lakeside Park Community Center, 50 W. Lake Road, Mayville. All blood types are needed 1o ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 16 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
