Holy Apostles Closure Appeal Group To Meet Tuesday
The Core group is inviting all Holy Apostles parishioners to meet with the group at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church, 120 Chandler St., Jamestown, for an update meeting regarding the appeal effort. Those attending can use the entry way on the Center Street side of the church.

Operators Invite Public To Join
The Chautauqua County Amateur FM Association Inc., Chautauqua County’s oldest and largest amateur radio club, is inviting all those currently licensed or interested in the hobby to attend one of the club’s yearly activities. The group meets at Bethel Baptist Church, 200 Hunt Road, West Ellicott (front entrance) at 7 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month, except December. The club participates in Field Day and Parks on the Air events, Sky Warn training, and emergency drills or activations. The group also supports RACES, the Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service. Fenton History Center Slates Sensory Santa Event
The Fenton History Center will hold its Sensory Santa event on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. Sensory Santa is a time for families to enjoy a visit with Santa in a low level of noise and light, yet festive, environment. The event is tailored for children and families who may find traditional Santa Claus encounters overwhelming. In addition, Santa is well-versed in working with individuals with disabilities. Parents or caregivers are required to accompany their child or children, and the event is open to all community members free of charge.
