FLUVANNA – The CLRAACA will have its monthly general meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the War Vets Recreation Club in Fluvanna. Anyone with an interest in antique automobiles is welcome to attend.

St. Luke’s Thrift Shop, 409 Pine St. between East Fourth and East Fifth streets, Jamestown, is well stocked with winter coats and jackets, boots and other winter wearing apparel. Ladies dresses now half price, ladies pants are $1 and there’s a large selection of ladies winter robes. The ladies and men’s departments have clothing from small through plus sizes. The children’s department has many like-new stuffed animals. All proceeds used for outreach in the local community. Store hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and the first Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Turkey Party

SINCLAIRVILLE – Sinclairville Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 will hold its annual turkey party at 7 p.m. Friday. There will be opportunities to win a turkey, ham, steaks, and a variety of other giveaways. Free refreshments provided by the kitchen. Sponsors this year include Rodgers and Sons, Southern Tier Trailer, and Pepsi.

Meet Dec. 6

The Norden Women’s Club will host a member-guest luncheon on Friday, Dec. 6, at Moonbrook Country Club. Church To Host Christmas Ball Fundraiser

FALCONER – Levant Wesleyan Church is having a Christmas ball fundraiser on Dec. 14 from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person available through Dec. 7. There will be a live Orchestra, hors d’oeuvres, a photo booth and dancing. Formal attire is required. Cocktail dresses are fine, just nothing casual. Tickets are available by calling 716-708-6215.
