CASSADAGA — The Citizens for a Better Cassadaga will present its annual Strawberry Social from 3-5 p.m. Sunday. “It’s Father’s Day but fathers love strawberry shortcake, so pack up the family and come to Cassadaga Beach on Park Avenue and enjoy fresh strawberries,” said committee member Cynthia Flaherty. “The Cassadaga Area Concert Band, close to 30 members, will be presenting music that includes marches, show tunes, pop and old-time favorites. Donations for shortcake are appreciated.” There is no swimming yet, but children can enjoy the playground. Picnic tables are available but attendees may want to bring their own chair.
