Performance At Reg Lenna Rescheduled To April 15, 2023
HYPROV – originally set to be performed on June 3 at Reg Lenna Center for The Arts – has been rescheduled to April 15, 2023. The Improv-Hypnosis comedy show is presented by Colin Mochrie of Whose Line Is It, Anyway? and Master Hypnotist Asad Mecci. YMCA Provide 8 Themed Weeks Of Day Camps For Children 5-12 Years Of Age
The Jamestown and Lakewood YMCA will provide eight themed weeks of day camps for children 5 to 12 years of age for the upcoming summer break. Age-appropriate activities are planned. Day camp starts as early as 7:30 a.m. and ends at 5:30 p.m. Day camp weekly fees are $180 per child for YMCA members, and $210 per child for potential members. There is a 20% discount for each additional sibling. The YMCA accepts DSS childcare assistance and scholarships are available at both locations for those that qualify. Day camp begins Monday, June 27, and ends on Friday, August 19. Breakfast and lunch are provided at the Jamestown location and only breakfast will be provided at the Lakewood location. Children will also receive weekly swim lessons and a t-shirt for field trip days. Each week your child should bring a backpack, afternoon snack, lunch (Lakewood only) and a water bottle, gym shoes, jacket or sweatshirt, and sunscreen. Registration forms and additional program information is available at the Jamestown and Lakewood YMCA Welcome Center. Immunizations are required to register. Space is limited. Board Of
Directors To Meet On June 7
MAYVILLEW — There will be a meeting of the Board of Directors of the North Chautauqua Lake Sewer District on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in Room 333 of the Gerace Office Building in Mayville. The board will be reviewing the findings of an Inflow and Infiltration Study that was done within the district and discussing changes to agreements and contracts between county sewer districts. The meeting is open to the public with proper social distancing and face masks may be required.
United Senior Council Meets June 9
The next meeting of the United Senior Council will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 9, at the Mayville VFW building. All Chautauqua County seniors are welcome to attend. The United Senior Council is also sponsoring a Drivers Safety Course on Thursday, June 30, at the Chautauqua Center Building in Jamestown. It will be a one-day, six-hour class at a cost of $35.
