Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fortney

Amber R. Grekalski was married Saturday, September 16, 2023 to Raymond M. Fortney at Saint Luke’s Episcopal Church in Jamestown, New York. The marriage was performed by Reverend Luke Fodor at 4 p.m.

The bride is the daughter of Donna Grekalski and the late Paul Grekalski of Frewsburg, New York. The groom is the son of Brian and June Fortney of Mayville, New York.

The bride wore a Stella York fitted vintage gown with unique lace details. Her cathedral lace veil and blusher were held in place by a crystal headband. She carried a bouquet of red roses and an antique pearl beaded purse containing special memorabilia from her late father.

The bride graduated from Jamestown High School and from St. Bonaventure University with a Master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. She is a senior director of marketing at VoltServer in Rhode Island.

The groom graduated from Chautauqua Lake Central School and from Carnegie Mellon University with a Master’s degree in Integrated Innovations for Products and Services. He is a senior product manager at AutoCruitment in North Carolina.

An elegant reception was held at the Marvin House, followed by a minimoon at Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. Later, they enjoyed a honeymoon in Zermatt, Switzerland. The couple now resides in Rhode Island.
