New Macs And Clones
5/5/2008 - A couple of new Macs were introduced this April. April 28, Apple updated the iMac line of computers. The iMac is Apple’s super slim all-in-one widescreen LCD computer. The other new computer announcement wasn’t from Apple but from a company based in Florida called Psystar. They are calling it the Open Computer, and you guessed it, it’s a clone.

Easy Photo-Sending Through E-Mail
4/21/2008 - Photography is a great hobby that can be enjoyed by anyone (I am an avid nature photographer — or at least try to be). Pictures are a great way to share your day-to-day with friends and family. This can be anything from sports, like baseball, soccer, golf, etc., to family outings or vacations. The one thing these activities may have in common is pictures. A great way to share your pictures is by e-mail, but be aware that size does matter.

It’s Elementary
4/7/2008 - Apple and Adobe have had an interesting relationship over the years. Back when desktop publishing started, Apple and Adobe was at the forefront. Apple had the Macintosh, one of the first computers for ‘artists,’ and Adobe had PostScript, PageMaker, and soon after Photoshop. In more recent years, Adobe has had the appearance of abandoning the Mac in favor of the massive Windows platform. Mac versions of Adobe software were dropped, and new versions of their software would appear for Windows first. While Adobe reassured customers that they were still very Mac centric, Windows looked to be the favorite child.

Two Heads Are Better Than One
3/24/2008 - If you are looking at switching to the Mac platform, or maybe you need a second Mac, the Mac mini is a great choice. The mini is very tiny, you really don’t realize how small until you hold it. It’s actually smaller than most external CD/DVD drives. Plus, Apple’s mini is the lowest priced Mac starting at $599. One con with the mini is the video system. The mini has limited 3D capabilities, plus it can only drive a single monitor. While the 3D graphics problem cannot be fixed, using multiple monitors can.
