i suppose being able to access the library from home is good for those who live out in the country. i live right around the corner from my local library.

I use the library anyway, but I love being able to do some of my research at home first so I know exactly what I can get before I get there. The library is a great community asset either way.

I would rather go to the library physically where I have access to a competent librarian. Most of the time when I use the library I have a lot of questions.

Fortunately already have home access to the library system thru the internet; actually, there is so much available that use is not a problem. Thinking of problems to be researched and solved is the problem now. How do I make the best use of all the information that is now so readily available. The only hold back for anyone now in information gathering is the skill to use the fantastic resources available.

Come on now, it'll do nothing more than make people lazier. If they wanna know what a library has to offer, you have two options: Call or go there. Anything other than that is an attempt to not interact with anyone.
