Would have been better had some of the other countries fared better.

Burton, he married a Russian athlete and elected to move to Russia with her. Love triumphs, Happens all the time. I have no idea what his politics are.

I watched and enjoyed more events than ever, I don't understand the skier that was born in USA gave up his citizenship in 2012 to be a Russian and won a gold medal.whats his point??lets ban him and let him stay in Russia
Someone should have told the one commentator that the athletes were supposed to be the focus of his reporting not his wardrobe or gay rights agenda. Hand it to Putin, his country put on a good Olympics in spite of many who tried to disparage it and convince folks to stay home. There is going to have to be some serious discussions about a permanent home for them in the future. It is getting to be too expensive for most countries to justify.

linda is so far left blue she makes msnbc look conservative. Good job on the coverage though.
I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent Olympics hosted by Russia. I was pleased with the half hour lead in on the Olympic Zone by the Buffalo affiliate, but a little disappointed that NBC couldn't find anything better to air as a lead in to the Closing Ceremonies than to bore us with a 45 minute show about the Nancy Kerrigan assault of 20 years ago!
Didn't know there was a "right wing media." It was on NBC. As far left as you get.

Putin is not a Commie pal or any pal of Obama's.

Actually, it seemed to me that the Right Wing media was much more interested in having a terrorist story op to blather about rather than the mainstream press. After all, then they could have blamed it all on Obama and his supposed "Commie pal", Putin.
The best they could do was the trouble in the Ukraine, and that fizzled while Putin and Russians brought home a bobsled filled with medals.

I think the Olympics would've been a lot better if there had be more coverage of it. Not all the events were televised , but that's not Russia's fault. I don't think Russia did any worse than any other country that has recently hosted the Olympics. But then again I wasn't there.
No terrorist attacks. I know the mainstream media is sorely disappointed.
