Jean A. Ambrosini-Gollnick, 85 of Tanglewood Manor, formerly of 9 Orchard St., Jamestown, passed away peacefully Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, in WCA Hospital.
She was born Oct. 18, 1928, in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Louis and Carmela Lunetta-Ambrosini.
She graduated from Jamestown Public Schools. She had been employed by the Bank of Jamestown as a teller and the former Marine Midland Bank in the bookkeeping department After retirement, she opened a gift store in the Gokey Center Mall in downtown, selling handmade items by local artists.
Jean was a member of the Christ First Methodist Church, and the Roger Tory Peterson Institute.
She demonstrated her talents by building miniature doll houses with all handmade furniture and ac-cessories. Jean loved to decorate and display the rooms to celebrate the seasons and holidays.
She is survived by a son David (Sharon) Gollnick of Jamestown; a daughter, Becky (Steve) Butryn of Kennedy; four grandchildren: Ryan (Stephanie) Butryn of Gainesville, Fla., Matt Butryn of New Paltz, N.Y., Natalie (Nick) Perkins of Charles Town, W.Va. and Ashley (Steve) Wendelboe of Williamsville, N.Y.; two great-grandchildren: Tenley Perkins of Charles Town, W.Va., and Reed Wendelboe of Willi-amsville, N.Y.; A brother, Reggie Ambrosini; and sister, Tillie Cusimano.
Along with her parents, Jean was predeceased by her husband, Paul F. Gollnick, whom she married June 4, 1949, in the Italian Methodist Church, and who passed away on Sept. 10, 2005; and a sister, Lydia Guiffrida.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday in Christ United Methodist Church. The Rev. Natalie Hanson, pastor, will officiate. The burial will be in the Sunset Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Friday, in Migliore Funeral Home.
