Labor Day Festival Rescheduled For Today

The 35th annual Jamestown Labor Day Festival at Bergman Park, originally scheduled for Sunday, has been rescheduled for today. The festival, along with all additional Labor Day activities, was canceled yesterday due to poor weather, and will begin today following the same schedule. An arts and craft show will begin at 11 a.m. and run through 7 p.m. The food concourse will open at noon. The George Ritzer Labor Award will be presented at 4 p.m., and a fireworks extravaganza will be at 8:30 p.m. Live music will be held on two separate stages beginning at noon. Music acts will include: Teachers, Preachers and Trent, featuring Karl Lydell; The Bogarts; We Speak Canadian; Two For Flinching; Jamestown Harmony Express; Razzer's Jazzers; The New Tenants; and Cindy Love.
