JAMESTOWN POLICE DEPARTMENT
Tory C. Arrance, 25, of Jamestown was charged with felony driving while intoxicated, felony aggravated unlicensed operator, reckless driving, failure to comply, failure to keep right, following too closely, speeding and third-degree unlawful fleeing police in a motor vehicle. At 2:39 a.m., officers observed a Chevrolet Impala following a vehicle too closely on Winsor Street near Chandler Street. When officers tried to stop the vehicle, the driver - Arrance - allegedly fled, causing a pursuit. Arrance eventually pulled over and surrendered to police. He was taken into custody and sent to the city jail. Investigation revealed that Arrance was intoxicated with a blood alcohol content almost twice the legal limit. He also had a prior DWI in 2010, making the new DWI a felony.
Timothy L. Combs, 44, of Jamestown was charged Tuesday with fugitive from justice. At 10:15 a.m., officers responded to 1709 Washington St. for an alarm at a business. While waiting for a key holder, Combs walked up to the scene and began to speak with officers. An investigation revealed that Combs was wanted out of Ohio. He was transported to the city jail without incident.
LAKEWOOD-BUSTI POLICE DEPARTMENT
Jesse A. Wolf, 25, of Jamestown was charged Wednesday with petit larceny. Wolf, an employee at the Lakewood Wal-Mart, would allegedly remove cash from the register for the last two months. He was also taking food and beverage products from Wal-Mart for his own personal use. He was later fired from Wal-Mart.
