Carol A. Woodin, 71, of Route 958, Bear Lake, Pa., died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, at her home.
She was born Aug. 16, 1942, in Columbus, Pa., a daughter of the late Clifford and Florence Orhn Casler.
Carol was raised and educated in Columbus and graduated from Corry Area High School in 1960. Following her marriage, her main priority was raising and caring for her family and home. She later worked for more than 30 years at the former Jamesway Store in Warren, and then for a few years at Kmart in Warren, until her retirement in 2004.
She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Dean Woodin; four sisters: Helen Damon, Maxine Warnshuis, Vivian Taft and Marjorie Vanars-dale; and a brother, Harold Casler.
Carol is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Woodin, whom she married on June 11, 1960, in Columbus, Pa.; two sons: Jeffery Woodin of Bear Lake, Pa., and Timothy Woodin of Corry, Pa.; and a brother, Carl Casler and his wife, Barb of Florida. She is also survived by two grandsons: Adam and Coty Woodin, both of Corry, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Bracken Funeral Home, 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa., on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral service there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Robert Howles, pastor of the Lottsville and Sugar Grove United Methodist churches, will officiate.
