KIANTONE - A Jamestown man was taken to WCA Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle was struck head-on Friday morning.
Chautauqua County Sheriff's deputies responded to the two-vehicle accident at 6 a.m.
Investigation revealed that Roger C. Bromley, 60, of Jamestown was northbound on Route 62 near Riverside Road when he allegedly fell asleep and drifted into the southbound lane, striking the motorcycle. Bromley, whose vehicle sustained heavy damage, was not injured.
Bromley was issued a ticket for failure to keep right and will appear in Kiantone Town Court at a later date.
Deputies were assisted by the Kiantone Volunteer Fire Department and Alstar EMS at the scene.
