Crews Fight Willard Street Extension Fire

Several area fire departments responded to a fully engulfed structure fire at 2082 Willard St. Extension on Thursday night shortly before 10 p.m. Chris Doverspike, Falconer fire chief, said he believed the home was vacant and that nobody was inside at the time of the fire. Crews from Frewsburg, Kiantone, Kennedy, Fluvanna and Gerry assisted Falconer at the scene. The Ellicott Police Department, Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department and county Fire Coordinators also responded.
