Three Jamestown teens face charges after a fight involving about 30 people Monday night on West Sixth Street.
Karisha Tapia, 19, of Jamestown, was charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and second-degree harassment while an 18-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy were each charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest at 8:33 p.m.
Police responded to a reported fight in the area near 416 W. Sixth St. and saw a large group walking away from the area. According to a police report, officers told the group to stop several times so officers could figure out who was involved in the fight. The group reportedly became disorderly and refused to comply with officers.
Tapia refused to stop walking away and allegedly began punching an officer after she was told she was being charged. The youths then began jumping on officers and trying to hit them.
All three are awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
