Jamie Cathryn Barnum, 30, and Paizlee Ann Barnum, 4, of Bee Branch, Ark., went to the Lord together, the result of an automobile accident on July 17, 2014, in Conway, Ark.
Jamie was born April 30, 1984, to James R. Johnson Jr. and Rebecca A. Smith Johnson. Jamie spent close to 10 years growing up in Japan with her family before moving to Arkansas.
Jamie graduated from the College of the Ozarks in 2006, with a degree in child education. She was an amazing mother and a very creative and artistic person with a great passion for photography. Jamie also loved to play and coach softball.
Paizlee Ann Barnum was born on Dec. 4, 2009, to Jamie and Rusty Wayne Barnum in Conway, Ark.
Paizlee, known as "Sassy Pants," was an animal lover and especially enjoyed catching frogs. Paizlee also played softball and loved the color purple.
They are survived by husband/father, Rusty Wayne Barnum of Bee Branch, Ark.; parents/ grandparents, James and Rebecca Johnson Jr. of Greenbier, Ark.; and sister/aunt and best friend, Laura Johnson of Memphis, Tenn. They are also survived by their New York family: grandmother/great-grandmother, Beverly Johnson, uncle, Dan (Marilyn) Johnson and aunt, Tammy Hudson, all of Falconer; along with numerous cousins.
They were preceded in death by grandparents Betty Patterson Smith and Eugene Smith of Arkansas, and James R. Johnson Sr. of Falconer, N.Y.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 21, 2014, in Arkansas.
